
½ of a 400g. pkg graham wafer crumbs
1 100g. bag slivered almonds
1 100g. bag sliced almonds
1 lb. butter, not margarine
1½ cup golden brown sugar
½ cup chocolate chips diluted with some milk to drizzle over top.
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Evenly sprinkle graham crumbs over a 10x15 cookie sheet. Pat down to form a base.
Sprinkle both bags of almonds over crumbs.
Melt butter in pan over medium heat. Add brown sugar and bring to boil. Stir constantly and boil for
4-5 minutes.
Pour mixture over crumbs and almonds and bake on highest rack in oven for 10 minutes until mixture bubbles.
Remove from oven. Let set 5 minutes.
Melt chocolate chips, dilute with milk and drizzle over top. Let cool 15-20 minutes, then gently cut into squares. Do not remove from pan until completely cooled.
