Bran Muffins

Up

1 cup 100% Bran

2 cups All Bran

Pour 1 cup boiling water over above.

Add:

1 1/2 cup sugar

2 eggs

1/2 cup oil

2 cups buttermilk

Mix together.

Add:

2 1/2 cups flour

1/2 tsp. salt

2 1/2 tsp. baking soda

Add:

1 cup raisins

1/2  cup chopped dates

Leave in fridge for one day before using.

Bake at 400F for 20 minutes.

Makes 2 dozen. Keeps 3-4 weeks in fridge.
