
In a small heavy saucepan, combine
1/4 cup butter,
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/4 cup light cream
3/4 cup shredded coconut (half nuts if desired).
Bring to boil, stirring. Boil gently for 1 minute. Spread over warm cake or cooled cake. Broil until bubbly and lightly browned, watching carefully.
