Steak Sandwich

Up

1 lb. 1/4  inch thick round steak

Instant meat tenderizer (optional)

1/2  cup butter or margarine, melted

3 tablespoons Fruity HP steak sauce

2 tablespoons sliced green onion

1 1/2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

1/4  teaspoon salt

6 1-inch slices French bread

Cut steak in 6 pieces. Use tenderizer following directions OR pound steak to tenderize.

Preheat griddle to 400F; grease lightly.

Grill meat 2 to 3 minutes per side. Pepper.

Sauce:

Combine; butter or margarine, Fruity HP sauce, green onion, Worcestershire sauce, and salt in saucepan and heat. Sauce maybe doubled.

Toast bread slices.

To serve: dip toast quickly in sauce; top with steak; spoon on remaining sauce.
