
1 pkg. lasagna noodles
2 cups cottage cheese
1 egg
1/4 tsp. onion salt
1 cup grated cheese
2 cups mashed potatoes
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. onion salt
salt
pepper
3/4 cup melted butter
1 cup sautéed onion
sour cream
Cook and drain lasagna noodles. Line the bottom of a 9x13 pan with some of the noodles. Mix 2 cups cottage cheese with 1 egg and 1\4 tsp. onion salt.
Spoon over noodles. Another layer of noodles. Mix together 1 cup grated cheese with 2 cups mashed potatoes, 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. onion salt, and salt and pepper to taste. Spread over noodles. Cover with remaining noodles. Melt 3/4 cup butter. Sauté 1 cup chopped onion. Pour over noodles. Cover with foil and bake at 350F for 30 minutes.
Let stand 10 minutes. Serve with sour cream.
