Sour Cream Cookies

½ Cup Margarine

1 Cup Sugar

1 Egg

1 Tsp. Vanilla

2 2/3 Cups Flour

1 Tsp. Baking powder

½ Tsp. Soda

½ Tsp. Salt

¼ Tsp. Nutmeg

½ Cup Sour cream

Heat oven to 425. Mix shortening, sugar, egg & vanilla thoroughly. Measure flour & blend with remaining dry ingredients. Add to sugar mixture, alternately with sour cream. Divide dough & roll out to ¼ thick on well-floured surface. Cut with 2” cookie cutters, place on well-greased baking sheet. Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Ice with icing sugar icing when cooled.
