Whipped Shortbread

3 Cups Butter (softened)

1 ˝ Cups Confectioners’ sugar (sifted)

4 ˝ Cups All purpose flour

1 ˝ Cups Cornstarch

Sprinkles or Ju Jubes

Using a heavy-duty mixer beat butter on medium speed until light and fluffy. Gradually add dry ingredients, beating constantly until well blended. Dust hands with additional cornstarch. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on ungreased cookie sheet. Press lightly with floured fork. Decorate with candied sprinkles or Ju Jubes. Bake at 300 for 20 minutes or until cookie is set but not browned. Yield: 16-18 dozen.
