Applesauce Cut Outs

1 50 oz. Jar of applesauce

14 Tbsp. Cinnamon

2 ½ Tbsp. Ground cloves

2 ½ Tbsp. Nutmeg

5 Tbsp. Cornstarch

Drain applesauce for 2 days, stirring occasionally. Mixture will be sticky. Add spices and cornstarch. Mix well and shape into a ball. Cover with plastic wrap & leave on counter until it looses its gloss. Chill until ready to use. Divide dough into 4 parts. Roll out on surface sprinkled with cinnamon. Cut with cookie cutters. Make holes in cut outs with a straw. Lay on flat surface to dry. Turn shapes over daily to prevent warping. Takes approx. one week to dry.
