
1 Medium head lettuce with some romaine mixed in
1 Cup Celery (sliced)
6 Hard Boiled eggs
10 oz. Frozen peas (cooked)
1/2 Cup Green pepper (chopped)
8 Green onions (chopped)
6 Oz. Water chestnuts (thinly sliced)
8 strips Bacon (cooked and crumbled)

1 Cup Mayonnaise
1 Cup Sour cream
2 Tbsp. Granulated sugar
1 Cup Cheddar cheese 9grated)
4 strips Bacon (cooked and crumbled)
Cut or break lettuce into small pieces. Layer bottom of 9x13 pan. Scatter each layer in order given over lettuce.... Mix mayonnaise with sour cream and sugar. Spread over top being careful to seal right to the edge of pan. Scatter cheese over sour cream mixture followed by bacon. Seal well with plastic wrap. Store in refrigerator for at least 24 hours before serving. Cut into squares. Serves 10 to 12. A glass bowl shows off this salad, you have to dig deep to get some of each layer.
